SIGMA CONSEIL is a group of economic, social and political consultancy firms that is based in North Africa.

The head office of sigma is based   in Tunisia; the company has subsidiaries in Algeria and Morocco and a liaison office in Libya.

SIGMA is a regional leader in the field of marketing, media and opinion-poll studies. Its profession consists of the collection, the treatment, the analysis and the interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data.

The field of operation encompasses the whole region of North Africa: Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria and Libya in addition to France and countries in Sub-Sahara Africa, as well as the Levant countries and Gulf region.

SIGMA was founded in 1998 by Mr.  Hassan Zargouni, a graduate in statistics from the National Statistics and Economic Administration College (ENSAE) of Paris. Mr. Zargouni also works as an expert with the European Union and a consultant for the World Bank. He is also the founding CEO of a micro-finance institution named “Micro Credit”.

During the financial year 2013, SIGMA has performed consolidated net sales amounting to 3.500.000 US$, subdivided as follows: 40% in marketing research, 40% in media analysis and 20% in opinion polls.

SIGMA processed, in 2013, more than 3 000 000 questionnaires of quantitative studies and convened more than 150 meetings held in favor of groups interested in qualitative studies.

 In 2014, SIGMA realized a 20 % growth of the turnover realized in subdivided as follows: 40% in marketing research, 35 % media in studies and 25%s in studies of opinions.

SIGMA employs 70 full-time staff members and 1200 part-time ones who all took part in the 120 missions undertaken by SIGMA in 2013.

SIGMA administered in 2014 more than 3 000 000 questionnaires and conducted more than 150 group meetings in twenty countries.

SIGMA has a call center of 100 positions and it uses 3 languages: Arabic, French and English.

SIGMA is equipped with a software program (ad hoc software programs) and hardware equipment (I pads...) and a call-center employing about 100 surveyors using CATI-based (computer assisted telephone interviewing) studies and targeting B to C or B to B groups all over the world.
